bright.net's Intelligent Content Control, using X-Stop, disables access to pornography and highly offensive material. Unlike the software packages that clever children can outsmart, our filtering system disables access before the offensive content even reaches your computer!

Server-side Technology

Unlike software or services that you have to purchase and install on your computer, bright.net's Intelligent Content Control is controlled on the Server-side of things (on bright.net's end). This means there are no costly fees for updating your software, there is no software to get around, and you don't have to worry about getting it installed. Intelligent Content Control is contantly being updated with the latest library or content, so you can feel safe that new sites are being added every day. There is no extra cost or hidden fees, once you subscribe, the monthly fee is all you have to worry about.

Powerful Control

The web-based interface gives you full control of your filtered access. Content begins filtering once your account is activated. This is completed by following the steps in our Intelligent Content Control Instructions Section. You register, we activate it, and the next time you access the Internet you are taking advantage of the best Internet Access Filtering available anywhere today. It is really that easy!

When registering, the user will need to provide their bright.net username, their master Intelligent Content Control username, and a confidential password. After completing those steps, the server will then allow an individual to create up to four user profiles. These profiles will then permit the user the ability to arrange four different levels of filtering - from least to most restrictive.

DISCLAIMER: bright.net's Intelligent Content Control through X-STOP features Direct Access Blocking (DAB). It uses the latest automated search technology to seek out, identify, and block almost 96% of all pornographic sites on the Internet. However, with the rate of 300 to 600 new pornographic sites emerging on the internet daily, X-STOP filtering will not, and cannot effectively block 100% of the pornographic material. Therefore, you, the customer, agree that bright.net cannot and does not guarantee the effectiveness of the X-Stop services or the accuracy of the information provided.

You, the customer, agree to and understand the limits of the service proived by bright.net's Intelligent Content Control Service. You, the customer, assumes all risks associated with the use of Intelligent Content Control filtering service. You, the customer, agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless bright.net and its owners, officers, agents, and employees from any litigation, claims, demands, or causes of action asserted or filed by any person that might arise out of a customer's use of the bright.net filtering service included any tracking software and/or data provided to customer.
